「Wholesale revenue was ¥2,962 million, up 2.6% year on year, and operating profit was ¥232 million, down 0.3%. Retail revenue was ¥4,479 million, up 1.4%, and operating profit was ¥312 million, up 31.7%. Real estate revenue was ¥85 million, up 47.4%, and operating profit was ¥64 million, up 84.1%. Scaffolding rental revenue was ¥279 million, up 5.0%, while the segment posted an operating loss of ¥12 million, compared with operating profit of ¥0 million in the year-earlier period. Sash and glass installation revenue was ¥246 million, down 17.2%, and the segment posted an operating loss of ¥4 million, compared with operating profit of ¥10 million in the year-earlier period.」
Wholesale posted higher revenue but lower profit; retail and real estate posted higher revenue and profit; scaffolding rental posted higher revenue but an operating loss; and sash and glass installation posted lower revenue and an operating loss.
