「As a result, wholesale net sales were ¥1,167 million, down 1.6% from the previous consolidated fiscal year, and operating profit was ¥918 million, up 1.3%. Retail net sales were ¥1,894 million, up 22.5%, and operating profit was ¥230 million, down 55.0%. Real estate net sales were ¥233 million, down 9.0%, and operating profit was ¥174 million, up 17.7%. Scaffolding rental net sales were ¥874 million, up 15.7%, and operating profit was ¥23 million, down 45.5%, due to increases in new customers and mid-rise properties.」
Wholesale revenue declined but profit increased, retail revenue increased but profit declined, real estate revenue declined but profit increased, and scaffolding rental revenue increased but profit declined. The sash and glass installation business had no impact on net sales or operating profit for the year.
