The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. For the fiscal year ended August 2026, results benefited from winning major projects in the core market, the new miffy product range, sales from timing-shifted projects in Taiwan and sales from the Seoul branch in overseas markets. Patient wear sales declined due to a reactionary decline following major projects in the previous fiscal year and customers holding back on purchases for replenishment. For the fiscal year ending August 2027, the company expects higher costs for raw materials, processing and foreign exchange, while targeting higher sales through the launch of miffy products, sales of high-value-added products and stronger initiatives in overseas markets.
