The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. For the fiscal year ended June 2026, increased sales of titanium aluminide blades for the A320neo and 737 MAX, together with the recognition of high-margin contract development revenue, were the main drivers of higher sales and operating profit. For the fiscal year ending June 2027, the Company expects increased sales from titanium aluminide blade sales, new projects, the start of mass production for the Aircraft Engine B project, and the start of consolidating オノプラント社. At the same time, it expects higher costs from investment in mass-production development of new materials, hiring and inflation.
