The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.atone benefited from expanded transactions with existing merchants and the acquisition of new merchants in non-physical-goods e-commerce areas such as digital content. NP Deferred Payment benefited from growth among existing merchants and the full-year contribution from a large project that went live in May 2025. Factors contributing to the shortfall against the full-year operating profit forecast included a ¥230 million decline due to the operating revenue margin, a ¥220 million improvement in the cost ratio, and approximately ¥60 million in additional marketing expenses.
