The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The increase in revenue was driven by abundant workloads from the beginning of the fiscal year and strong orders during the fiscal year. Factors weighing on profit included higher outsourcing costs and other expenses, increased investment in personnel and other expenses, and an ¥845 million provision for compensation for completed work due to design errors in bridge seismic reinforcement design projects. For the fiscal year ending June 2027, revenue is expected to expand through growth businesses including nuclear power, defense and decarbonization, while additional costs are expected to be contained through investment in business expansion and personnel, as well as thorough quality and safety management.
