The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

Revenue increased as BRAISE and ジーズ・コーポレーション were consolidated from the start of the fiscal year. However, profit from the core businesses declined due to a decrease in the number of active temporary staff and a lower gross profit margin in the staffing business, lower orders in the second half of the previous fiscal year in the recruitment and hiring-support business, and reduced advertising budgets among major customers in the MS business. Rent, advertising expenses, personnel expenses and goodwill amortization related to the consolidation of the Shinjuku head office also weighed on profit.
