The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The primary factors were restrictions on the progress of certain construction projects during the Osaka-Kansai Expo in the construction business, and declines in revenue and gross profit due to the reversal of the rush demand seen in the same period of the previous year. In addition, temporary costs associated with the acquisition of a business in the human resources-related services business, as well as higher personnel, food, fuel and utility costs in the nursing care business, reduced profit.
