The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The Company cited fixed-cost reductions through the optimization of personnel expenses and rigorous cost management, strategic development investment while keeping operating costs under control, and an increase in the number of users of online reservations following UI improvements. Regarding the decline in paid restaurant members, the Company said that the cancellation and review of one low-cost corporate plan and the review of inactive restaurants accounted for half of the decrease.
