These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The factors behind the decline in operating profit for the fiscal year ended March 2026 included a ¥31.8 billion decrease from volume and mix and a ¥37.7 billion decrease from raw material, logistics and other costs. These were partly offset by a ¥36.9 billion increase from cost improvements, a ¥42.4 billion increase from fixed costs and other items, and a ¥10.6 billion increase from foreign exchange. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, the company expects a ¥69.8 billion increase from volume and mix, a ¥79.8 billion increase from foreign exchange and a ¥77.6 billion increase from cost improvements, while factoring in a ¥81.7 billion decrease from raw material, logistics and other costs and a ¥30.5 billion decrease from growth investment.
