The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Revenue decreased by ¥4.7 billion due to lower production volumes resulting from operating a single plant in the United States, but increased by ¥300 million due to changes in orders received outside the United States, by ¥600 million from the impact of price changes, and by ¥1.1 billion from foreign exchange effects. Operating income benefited from workforce optimization, expense reductions, rationalization, the pass-through of higher costs into selling prices, and foreign exchange translation differences.
