The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

The latest sales plans of customers were reviewed, resulting in an increased revenue forecast for the Japan segment. Although higher prices for key materials such as aluminum put downward pressure on the Japan segment's profit in the first quarter, profitability is expected to improve from the second quarter onward due to the effect of passing material costs through to prices and the accumulation of marginal profit from higher revenue. Business performance in Asia, the United States and Europe is also expected to remain solid.
