Items this document does not state (11)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Revenue declined in the bus market due to lower sales related to the introduction of new banknotes, as well as lower sales of fareboxes and IC card readers/writers. In the railway market, sales related to the introduction of new banknotes and sales of LED lighting fixtures for trains destined for the United States also declined. In the Industrial Equipment business, sales of chargers for battery-powered forklifts and LED power supplies decreased. Meanwhile, EMS automotive printed circuit board assembly sales increased. The decline in operating profit was attributed to the decrease in revenue, along with higher provisions for order losses related to strategic projects undertaken with a view to future growth, service expenses and personnel expenses.
