Acquisition period

From 31 March 2026 to 30 June 2026

Reason for acquisition

The method was selected because acquiring the common shares of Toyota Motor Corporation owned by Toyota Industries Corporation as treasury shares would enable Toyota Motor Corporation to acquire a substantial number of treasury shares within a relatively short period without impairing the liquidity of its common shares, while minimizing the impact on general shareholders in considering the transaction as a whole. A substantial unwinding of cross-shareholdings among Toyota Group companies will significantly advance efforts to improve capital efficiency and contribute to the optimal allocation of management resources and the enhancement of corporate value.
