Items this document does not state (16)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Increased orders in the power trading-related business and sharp rises in crude oil, natural gas and power futures prices amid heightened tensions in Iran generated substantial gains on the business's hedging positions. Underlying earnings improvement was constrained by the downsizing of the dealing business, price fluctuations in products subject to arbitrage trading, customer losses and price competition in the retail business, and delays in the progress of the grid-scale battery storage business.
