The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. In the fiscal year ended March 2026, opening costs for new facilities in Sapporo and other areas, travel and transportation expenses associated with dispatching personnel from existing regions, and increases in recruitment and labor costs weighed on profit. In addition, utilization rates and per-resident fees at the Kumamoto facilities fell below assumptions, while revenue from a large consulting project in Nishi-ku, Fukuoka, was not recognized because the company and its accounting auditor did not reach agreement on the appropriate revenue recognition treatment. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, the company expects stable operations at existing facilities, new openings, monetization of the Sapporo area and an increase in the number of member corporations, while excluding Region Prime projects from its earnings forecast.
