「During the fiscal year, as part of efforts to establish the foundation for decarbonization management, we calculated the Company’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions under Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 and completed our response to requests from business partners. As a result, we confirmed that Scope 3 accounts for approximately 84% of the Company’s total GHG emissions. Going forward, we will focus primarily on Scope 3 while simultaneously pursuing measures with an immediate impact for Scope 1 and Scope 2.」
We calculated GHG emissions under Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 and determined that Scope 3 accounts for approximately 84% of the total. We have newly disclosed our response focused on Scope 3, measures for Scope 1 and Scope 2, initiatives toward obtaining SBT certification, and the acquisition of an EcoVadis badge.
