The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Childcare services generated higher revenue as a result of improved enrollment rates at existing facilities, increased subsidies due to higher government-set childcare fees, the opening of the Tohei facility, and the expansion of the Harumi facility. In the real estate business, revenue declined because of the reversal of the impact of a large-scale real estate sale in Asakusa recorded in the previous fiscal year. However, the operating margin improved as a result of exiting unprofitable businesses and streamlining and improving operational efficiency in core businesses. Subsidy income received before the opening of facilities and the absence of the extraordinary loss recorded in the previous fiscal year also contributed to the increase in profit.
