The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. In Japan, the company continued its free storage fee campaign, promoted the new HOPECELL plan, expanded discounts for lump-sum payments, and strengthened cooperation with obstetric facilities. Overseas, it continued upfront investment to prepare personnel, business workflows and the operating structure for the launch of operations in Singapore. The launch timing was revised from the initial target of June 2026 to around September 2026 because confirming and responding to administrative procedures took longer than expected. However, fluctuations in the timing of obtaining the license have already been incorporated into the plan.
