The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

With the Singapore business entering full-scale operations, we have clarified “domestic business growth” and “expansion into Southeast Asian markets” as the two pillars of our growth strategy. In Japan, we will expand storage-fee revenue by increasing new storage and the cumulative number of stored specimens, while seeking to establish the Southeast Asian business as a future earnings pillar and enhance corporate value over the medium to long term.
