Reason for the revision

Consolidated net sales were ¥188 million below forecast, although the domestic business remained solid and posted record-high sales. In addition to the shortfall in net sales against plan, gross profit was ¥125 million below plan due to higher personnel expenses associated with staff expansion and wage revisions, as well as rising raw material prices. Furthermore, selling, general and administrative expenses increased by ¥128 million in total due to ¥64 million in business launch costs for the Singapore subsidiary and ¥59 million in costs associated with strengthening the operating structure in Japan, among other factors.
