Items this document does not state (10)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. In the copyright management business, increased use of music products and music on television and radio contributed to higher revenue and profit. In the DD business, increased streaming of master recordings related to anime, games and VTubers, as well as the release of previously unavailable catalog titles, contributed to the increase. In the music distribution business, revenue and profit benefited from the dヒッツ pricing revision and the expansion of RecoChoku play, a music-use licensing service. The company attributed the shortfall against the initial plan to lower-than-planned transaction volumes related to distribution in the copyright management and DD businesses, as well as delays in developing business partners and rolling out new services at a subsidiary.
