The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The primary reason for the decline in sales was a decrease in the number of adverse event cases among certain customers of the safety information management services. The Company partly offset the impact of lower sales by launching expansion projects for existing customers and new projects for new customers in its safety information management and document support services. On the profit side, the decline in sales and lower utilization rates had an impact, while the Company maintained a certain level of staffing in preparation for future orders. At the same time, it worked to reduce labor costs by restraining overtime work and hiring.
