Factors Behind Changes in Business Performance

In the SaaS business, demand for services remained firm, orders from existing customers expanded and new customers were acquired. In the DX business, customer acquisition progressed steadily, and profitability improved as a result of the business restructuring carried out in the previous fiscal year. The professional services business reported lower revenue and profit due to changes in transaction conditions with some existing customers. Quarterly net income attributable to owners of the parent declined due to a decrease in the gain on reversal of stock acquisition rights and an increase in income taxes and other taxes.

The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

Revenue, operating profit and other measures increased as demand for services in the SaaS business remained firm, orders from existing customers expanded and new customers were acquired, while profitability in the DX business improved as the effects of the business restructuring carried out in the previous fiscal year became evident. The decrease in quarterly net income attributable to owners of the parent was due to a ¥25 million decrease in the gain on reversal of stock acquisition rights, together with an increase in income taxes and other taxes.
