Factors Behind Changes in Business Performance

The APP business reported lower sales due to the conclusion of serialized popular titles, lower billing revenue, slower growth in advertising rewards and lower advertising rates. Operating loss narrowed as costs were reduced through optimizing staffing levels and improving operational efficiency in existing services. In the RET business, lodging demand and occupancy rates remained firm, but sales declined because brokerage fees from the sale and purchase of lodging properties recorded in the previous fiscal year did not arise in the current period.
