「For mechanical parking systems, standard models were developed to strengthen cost competitiveness, and trial operation of a cloud-based remote monitoring system was conducted to improve maintainability.」
The initiative progressed from prototype development and testing of remote monitoring devices to trial operation of cloud-based remote monitoring for mechanical parking systems. - FY2019First statedAnnual report
「For construction machinery, a prototype remote monitoring device was developed and tested to reduce the labour required for maintenance of construction elevators, with favourable results. Field demonstration tests will be conducted. In addition, a prototype electrically operated building-side door was produced and subjected to durability testing to reduce labour requirements at construction sites. Going forward, field tests and development of coordinated operation with elevators will proceed with the aim of practical implementation. For mechanical parking systems, we are seeking to increase the number of models certified by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to expand sales, while promoting development in niche areas not addressed by competitors, as announced last fiscal year. A prototype device designed to accommodate wheelchair users was completed. Going forward, we will also pursue the use of IoT to apply equipment information to maintenance operations.」
Prototype development and testing progressed for remote monitoring devices, powered doors and wheelchair-accessible devices, and the use of IoT in elevator and parking-system maintenance and operations was identified as a new initiative.
