The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

In addition to the contribution from 小寺電子製作所 becoming part of the Group, performance was strong in areas including the design and construction of air-conditioning, water supply and drainage, and sanitary facilities; the manufacture and maintenance of mechanical parking systems; and the manufacture and assembly of various industrial machinery components. Operating profit improved with higher revenue, although the Company recorded a loss in the first quarter because, due to the nature of the business, revenue recognition is limited during the quarter and fixed costs could not be fully covered.
