The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Strong demand for components for the AI and semiconductor-related markets, higher revenue from high-value-added products, and the revenue contribution and improved profitability of the main existing businesses contributed to the results. These factors more than offset one-time losses, including an impairment loss of approximately ¥29.5 billion and a provision of approximately ¥7.6 billion related to energy-related products. In addition, the weaker yen boosted revenue by approximately ¥63.0 billion and profit before tax by approximately ¥12.0 billion.
