The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. In the Electronics Business, sales of various modules for mobility applications and switching power supplies for semiconductor manufacturing equipment applications declined. Operating profit was affected by fluctuations in raw material prices, price revisions and higher expenses; ordinary profit was affected by higher interest expenses and foreign exchange losses; and net income was affected by an increase in impairment losses.
