Items this document does not state (11)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The increase in revenue in FY2025 was driven by demand for high-speed transmission-capable movable BtoB connectors in the mobility market, powertrain applications in China, and energy management equipment in the industrial market. The increases in raw material prices, upfront investment in the new Akita plant, personnel expenses and other costs were offset by the effect of higher revenue, cost reductions and the benefits of structural reforms. The forecast decline in profit for FY2026 reflects higher raw material prices, increased personnel and other costs associated with implementing measures to prevent a recurrence, and other anticipated risks.
