- FY2026Final-year results against climate change targets updatedAnnual report
「Regarding energy intensity during the fiscal year, the indicator deteriorated at the Kanari Plant because energy consumption increased due to lower volumes of mass-produced products and increases in prototypes and individual products, while the processed area declined. In addition, the Ako Plant was affected by temporary special factors associated with the launch of a new line, resulting in a significant deterioration in the indicator overall. Industrial waste emissions increased from the previous fiscal year, but the company achieved a 22.1% reduction from the base year and therefore met the target for the final year.」
Energy intensity was 7,345 kl per million m², falling short of the target of 5,905 kl per million m², representing a 3% reduction from FY2022. Meanwhile, industrial waste emissions were 50,483 kg, a 22.1% reduction from the base year, achieving the 10% reduction target. - FY2025AchievedAnnual report
「During the current fiscal year, both energy intensity and industrial waste emissions exceeded not only their annual targets but also achieved the targets for the final year ahead of schedule.」
Energy intensity was 5,787 kl per million m² and industrial waste emissions were 45,213 kg. The Company states that it achieved ahead of schedule its targets for the final year, originally set for fiscal 2025, of reducing these figures by 3% and 10%, respectively, from fiscal 2022 levels. - FY2024AdvancedAnnual report
「Energy intensity (kl per million m²) 6,088 6,941 Target: 3% reduction from fiscal 2022 by fiscal 2025 (single-year target for fiscal 2023: 6,027 kl per million m²) Industrial waste emissions (kg) 64,823 62,484 Target: 10% reduction from fiscal 2022 by fiscal 2025 (single-year target for fiscal 2023: 62,878 kg)」
The company specified its three-year targets related to climate change. Energy intensity was 6,941kl/million m², exceeding the single-year target, while industrial waste emissions were 62,484kg, below the single-year target of 62,878kg. - FY2023First statedAnnual report
「For the time being, we will work to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by thoroughly implementing energy-saving initiatives and promoting the introduction of more energy-efficient, lower-emission equipment when updating facilities. In the future, we will also consider introducing a PPA model and purchasing renewable energy while monitoring policy developments toward decarbonization, including the introduction of a carbon tax.」
In its sustainability disclosures, the Company has for the first time systematically presented environmental management based on ISO 14001, the introduction of energy-saving, high-efficiency and low-emission equipment, and consideration of future PPA models and renewable energy procurement.
