「We are pursuing the commercialization of Car to Car, a business model that returns all automotive components to raw materials for use in manufacturing the next generation of vehicles. Development and demonstration work to date has confirmed that more than 80% of an end-of-life vehicle by weight can be converted into single materials through precision dismantling, and that introducing automated precision dismantling has the potential to reduce CO2 emissions by 630 kg per end-of-life vehicle across the value chain. Battery passports will be mandatory for EV and industrial batteries sold in the EU from February 2027. We became the first Japanese company to obtain EcoPass certification.」
We are pursuing the commercialization of Car to Car through precision dismantling of automotive components and the use of recycled materials, confirming the potential to convert more than 80% into single materials and reduce CO2 emissions by 630 kg per vehicle. We developed an application for the European battery passport and became the first Japanese company to obtain Catena-X-compliant EcoPass certification.
