Transition to a new advisory system without an adviser emeritus

「Effective 1 April 2018, the Company reviewed its advisory system and transitioned to a new system. External roles previously held by advisory counselors and special advisors, including positions as officers of various foundations and incorporated associations, will be undertaken by former chairmen and presidents serving as “special advisors,” and no advisory counselor position will be established. Special advisors will also serve on a part-time, unpaid basis, with their terms capped at age 80.」
