Items this document does not state (1)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The incorporation-type company split will be cancelled because, in light of changes in the business environment and underlying assumptions, it was determined to be more rational to operate the automotive display business as an integrated business. The absorption-type merger will be carried out because there is little rationale for allowing JDIDD, which has no substantive business activities, to continue, and the merger was determined to be appropriate for improving operational and administrative efficiency and handling statutory procedures. The reduction in stated capital and other capital surplus and the disposal of surplus will enable the Company to strengthen its financial position and pursue a more flexible capital policy. The Articles of Incorporation will be amended to change the location of the head office to Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, following the relocation of the head office functions.
