Presentation Materials on Consolidated Financial Results for the Second Quarter of the Fiscal Year Ending March 2027

Cumulative results for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027 showed higher revenue and profit, driven by increased sales to the V&S market and the weaker yen against the euro. The full-year earnings forecast was left unchanged due to uncertainty over component procurement, despite current performance exceeding the plan.

The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

Increased sales to the V&S market, higher domestic and overseas sales of B&P products, solid sales for air traffic control and defense applications, and the weaker yen against the euro contributed to higher revenue and profit. On the profit side, the gross profit margin rose due to increased sales of high-value-added products, while reductions in fixed costs from restructuring and streamlining the organizational structure in Europe and the absence of the one-time costs for the new technology building recorded in the same period of the previous year pushed up operating profit. Net income included a gain of ¥4.46 billion on the sale of investment securities.
