The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

The decline in revenue was attributable to lower shipment volumes of gaming machine components and other products in the entertainment-related business, as well as the completion of demand for the migration from 3G to LTE and delays in the development and market launch of 5G and edge AI-related products in the IT-related business. The increase in ordinary income was attributable to the recognition of ¥4,969 million in equity-method investment income from Cellebrite. The decline in net income was due to a ¥12,832 million year-on-year decrease in the gain on changes in Cellebrite's equity interest.
