Items this document does not state (15)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. For the fiscal year ended March 2026, the Automotive Equipment business reported higher sales and profits, driven by increased production of internal-combustion-engine vehicles in the United States and the recovery of costs related to additional tariffs and rare-earth export controls. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, profit is expected to increase in the Automotive Equipment business due to the start of full-scale mass production and increased production of new ignition coils. In the Energy Solutions business, however, profit is expected to decline because of higher semiconductor prices and increased R&D investment, while the Electronic Equipment business is expected to see lower profit due to higher costs resulting from increased production and higher R&D expenses.
