Financial Results Presentation for the Second Quarter (Interim Period) of the Fiscal Year Ending January 2027

Cumulative first-half revenue and profit declined due in part to the reactionary decline from the previous year's large projects, resulting in wider operating and interim net losses. In the standalone second quarter, however, the operating loss narrowed year on year due to contributions from consolidated subsidiaries and the completion of deliveries, and first-half progress is considered broadly in line with plan.

The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

The main factors behind the decline in revenue and profit were the reactionary decline from the previous period's large projects, which had high gross margins; the completion of a large-scale system development project in the Technical Services business; and the reactionary decline from a large CELDIS implementation project in the TRaaS business. Selling, general and administrative expenses also increased due to the consolidation of アクスト東日本 and goodwill amortization. Meanwhile, orders for STB equipment and other products in the order-based Product business contributed to higher profit.
