「The head office and Kasawa Plant began using renewable energy electricity under an on-site PPA in June 2025. Solar power generation equipment installed on the plant roof is expected to supply 843 MWh, equivalent to approximately 16% of annual electricity consumption.」
To meet its Scope 1 and 2 emissions reduction targets, the head office and Kasawa Plant began an on-site PPA in June 2025 and expect solar power generation to supply approximately 16% of annual electricity consumption, or 843 MWh. - FY2025RestatedAnnual report
「For Scope 1 and 2 emissions, the company set reduction targets of 60% by fiscal 2026 and 61% by fiscal 2030, compared with fiscal 2019, the most recent year with the highest emissions, and is working to achieve these reductions.」
The company continues to pursue targets to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 60% in fiscal 2026 and 61% in fiscal 2030 from fiscal 2019 levels, along with energy conservation, renewable energy adoption and on-site energy generation initiatives. - FY2024First statedAnnual report

The TCFD project began identifying climate-related risks and opportunities, conducting scenario analysis and calculating financial impacts, and newly established reduction targets for Scope 1 and 2 emissions. Response measures include introducing CO2-free electricity at major domestic sites and 4 sites in Europe, reducing packaging and resource use, reviewing selling prices, and transferring operations between procurement and production sites.
