Notice Regarding Revisions to Full-Year Consolidated Earnings Forecasts for the Fiscal Year Ending March 2027

The full-year consolidated revenue forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 was raised by ¥12 billion, while operating profit was reduced by ¥1.1 billion and profit attributable to owners of the parent was reduced by ¥300 million. Domestic sales of new products and music content sales were strong, but the freezing of projects and sluggish order intake in the North American public safety market weighed on results.

Reason for the revision

In the Mobility & Telematics Services segment, sales of products newly introduced since the end of the previous fiscal year increased, while content sales, including music streaming, were stronger than expected in the Entertainment Solutions segment. In the Safety & Security segment, a review of budget execution by local governments in the North American public safety market became apparent, resulting in the freezing of prospective projects and sluggish new order intake, and performance is expected to remain below expectations in the second half. The forecast also incorporates approximately ¥4.5 billion in business profit and approximately ¥200 million in profit before tax from refunds of U.S. IEEPA tariffs.

Previous-period resultsRevenue ¥356,865 million, business profit ¥20,880 million, operating profit ¥20,540 million, profit before tax ¥21,660 million, profit attributable to owners of the parent ¥16,787 million, basic earnings per share ¥115.21 (fiscal year ended March 2026)
