Sales of AI-related services grew and profit margins showed an improving trend, but this was not sufficient to offset the decline in sales of the company’s former core revenue-generating services, resulting in lower sales and lower profits. The first half was positioned as a period of upfront investment for the development and market launch of the company’s suite of AI services, and personnel were selectively redeployed. The results are expected to become evident from the second half onward.
