「We have positioned the compact accommodation facilities operated in Kyoto by the subsidiary Ebisu Ryokan Co., Ltd. as the “Ebisu Ryokan model” and will roll them out at scale, focusing on locations near stations and tourist attractions. In addition, we will develop apartment-style facilities for long-stay and family guests to capture diverse accommodation demand, particularly from inbound travellers. We have established an investment budget of ¥3 billion to ¥4 billion in total and acquired sites in Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo, and Kyoto Hachijocho, Minami-ku, Kyoto. We plan to acquire and develop multiple properties successively in the future.」
The company provided its first systematic disclosure of plans to roll out the Ebisu Ryokan model, develop apartment-style facilities, establish an investment budget of ¥3 billion to ¥4 billion, acquire sites in Asakusa and Kyoto's Hachijo-machi district, and develop multiple properties.
