This is the number of people reported to the exchange as independent officers. Whether someone is an outside officer and whether they qualify as independent are separate determinations.
As of 24 June 2026, Ashida Koichi (芦田耕一) will be newly designated as an independent officer, and, due to the resignation of Shigematsu Masami (重松正巳), Tamaki Nanako (玉置菜々子) will also be newly designated as an independent officer. All persons who meet the requirements for independent officers have been designated as independent officers.
