Items this document does not state (11)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The main drivers of higher revenue and profit in the fiscal year ended March 2026 were development-stage progress in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields exceeding expectations, increased demand for pharmaceutical, medical and semiconductor-related applications in functional materials, and contributions from the start-up of Building D and multiple development projects in biotechnology. Although costs such as personnel expenses increased, the impact was offset by higher revenue. The reason for not disclosing a full-year forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 is that the Strait of Hormuz situation has increased the risk of raw-material shortages and price spikes, making it difficult to reasonably calculate full-year results.
