The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Fucoxanthin has high recovery costs, requires expensive and complex technology, and is unstable. Using a method that treats microalgae with an organic solvent and recovers the fucoxanthin with fine silica gel particles enabled purification and extraction to a level equivalent to reagent grade.
