The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. Both the direct-mail business's mailing agency services and the fulfillment services for e-commerce operators performed strongly, as the acquisition of new customers and orders from existing customers both exceeded expectations. In mailing agency services, in addition to steady orders for small- and medium-lot projects, the Company won large-lot projects through the development of its sales organization and investment in personnel in marketing. In fulfillment services, customer acquisition and shipping-related work for major customers increased as a result of improved recognition of “Ulroji,” the full-scale launch of the Kunitachi Fulfillment Center, and strengthened production capacity following the opening of the new Hachioji No. 6 Fulfillment Center.
