The full-year consolidated earnings forecasts for the fiscal year ending June 2026 have been revised downward, with net sales, operating income and ordinary income all reduced. Net income attributable to owners of the parent and earnings per share have been left undecided due to the possibility of an order from the Financial Services Agency to pay an administrative surcharge.

Reason for the revision

Expected sales will decline by approximately ¥400 million due to the cancellation of trips departing from March onward as a result of the worsening situation in the Middle East. Orders are also expected to decline as consumers refrain from traveling in response to higher fuel prices. Although selling, general and administrative expenses are expected to be reduced by approximately ¥40 million through cost savings in personnel expenses, advertising expenses and commissions paid, operating income and ordinary income have also been revised downward because the decline in gross profit resulting from lower sales cannot be offset. Net income and earnings per share have been left undecided because the timing and amount of any administrative surcharge payment order from the Financial Services Agency cannot be reasonably estimated.

Previous-period resultsNet sales: ¥3,722 million; operating loss: ¥111 million; ordinary loss: ¥108 million; net loss attributable to owners of the parent: ¥767 million; and loss per share: ¥38.86 (fiscal year ended June 2025)

The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

Travel cancellations have occurred for trips to or via the Middle East due to the worsening situation there, reducing expected sales by approximately ¥400 million. Orders are also expected to decline as consumers refrain from traveling in response to higher fuel prices. Although selling, general and administrative expenses are expected to be reduced by approximately ¥40 million through cost savings in personnel expenses, advertising expenses and commissions paid, this will not offset the decline in gross profit resulting from lower sales, and operating income and ordinary income have therefore also been revised downward. In addition, because the company may receive an order from the Financial Services Agency to pay an administrative surcharge, and the timing and amount cannot be reasonably estimated, net income and earnings per share have been left undecided.
