Reason for the revision

Revenue management tailored to the characteristics and changes in each region has successfully captured lodging demand, with both room occupancy rates and average room rates exceeding expectations. As the impact of the slowdown in inbound demand caused by deteriorating Japan-China relations is expected to be limited, the net sales forecast has been revised upward. In addition to the impact of higher revenue, each profit metric is forecast to exceed the previous estimates even after incorporating expenses related to new hotel openings, refurbishment investments and other items.

Previous-period resultsNet sales: ¥49,645 million; operating profit: ¥6,306 million; ordinary profit: ¥5,843 million; net income attributable to owners of the parent: ¥5,260 million; earnings per share: ¥368.90 (fiscal year ended June 2025)
Dividend forecast revisionThe year-end dividend forecast has been increased from ¥40.00 to ¥52.00 per share. The annual dividend has also been revised from ¥40.00 to ¥52.00 per share.

The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

Revenue management tailored to the characteristics and changes in each region has captured lodging demand, resulting in room occupancy rates and average room rates exceeding expectations. Although inbound demand is expected to slow due to deteriorating Japan-China relations, the impact is expected to be limited, and profits are forecast to exceed the previous estimates even after incorporating the costs of new hotel openings, refurbishment investments and other items, in addition to the increase in revenue. The dividend will be increased after taking into comprehensive consideration the performance outlook, financial position, payout ratio and other factors.
