Steady expansion of the Semiconductor Business and New Fields Business. In the Semiconductor Business, growth was driven by increased demand for existing deep-ultraviolet lasers and single-crystal products, the ramp-up of new products and contracted development of next-generation lasers. In the New Fields Business, shipments of Faraday rotators increased against a backdrop of growing global demand for data centers, resulting in growth that more than offset the impact of lower revenue from Raicol.
