The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Revenue increased due to higher orders for core single-lever and thermostatic faucets. Operating profit increased with higher revenue, but cost of sales deteriorated due to soaring raw material prices and higher supplier costs. The receipt of subsidies related to the acquisition of land and buildings for the construction of a new plant also contributed to increases in ordinary profit and net income.
